Overview:

The Blaser R93 Tactical (Model 93T in game) is a German 7.62x51mm (blue ammo) straight-pull sniper rifle. It is somewhat uncommon, with a rarity comparable to Mosin-Nagant.

In Game:

This sniper rifle fills the niche of a good starter sniper, with a nice magazine size, low fire delay, and decent accuracy. Though to compensate, damage is considerably lower than Mosin-Nagant. Regardless, this gun could still be classified on par with SV-98, and the rest of the 7.62mm sniper rifles.

In Combat:

Using:

• This gun is quick to recover after shots, so you could very easily take another player down within 10 seconds.
• Bullet speed and range is good on this gun, making it easily usable from all ranges.

Countering:

• Since the fire delay is considerably lower than most sniper rifles, it does not make much sense to attack between shots. Your best bet would be to overwhelm at close range with a shotgun (or a MAC-10, or anything else spammy) when they are reloading.
• Accuracy is somewhat lower than most other sniper rifles. While this may not be entirely useful, the chance of your opponent missing is higher.
• Even if they end up hitting you, the damage per shot of this weapon is low, meaning you can probably tank multiple shots depending on your armor.

Trivia:

• The Model R93T is one of 3 guns introduced in the Swine Convenience Store concept. (link takes you to the concept on the official surviv.io discord)
• This would be the fourth 7.62mm sniper rifle in game if added, behind Mosin-Nagant, SV-98, and BLR 81
